DCA is helpful when the information provided from the software problem report which is determined by a team centered system for the exploration of sources of faults. DCA simply provided a very economical procedure to mend the eminence of software developed and furnished by the team, organization or nay project taken. DCA is an art which is taken to more furnish the testing process which is initially defined on the basis of concept of Defect Based Process Improvement (DBPI). Therefore Defect Casual Analysis (DCA) is a product concentrated software progression enhancement. Now I were always facing also one more problem that was that I don’t have any track record of whatever defect I have found in last project during testing and regression testing because of which I were always making silly mistakes. This technique helps me a lot so that I have found and effective procedure for my testing procedure. By using reference of those research I have applied one technique of regressing testing known as “(Hybrid) modification, minimization and prioritization- based selection Regression testing technique” and I found very good result because of which my testing and repeat testing timing become shot and I have made an order test cases on priority basis because of which I have only used the test cases that need to test major and important functionality of the product and applicable to modified version of the product. There I found many techniques related to regression testing and how to implement the defect tracing analysis. Therefore I have made a research on regression testing and tracing defect in every project. So at that time I thought there should be a technique by usage of which my testing, repeat testing and analysis of defect should traced within less time and also there should be less issue found during the testing of product whenever it is modified on the demand of the customer request.
As I am a SQA engineer (tester) so I were always facing the problem that whatever defect I are found in any project I always found in other projects also and whenever any enhancement done in any project I do a repeat test with all test cases that was run during the testing of the product when it was initially launched.
